The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored educational support to students with special educational needs. This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons, assessing progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Demonstrable experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role is essential.

  • Understanding of special educational needs and associated teaching strategies
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

This is a temporary, part-time position based in Surrey, South East England. The role involves working closely with students in an educational setting, adapting to their individual needs and providing support as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
