Job Advertisement: General SEMH Teacher

A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated General SEMH Teacher to join their permanent staff at their Towcester site, starting in January 2025 or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual committed to making a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
