  • Provide secondary level maths tutoring to students
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Utilise different teaching strategies to engage students and enhance learning
  • Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level

  • Strong understanding of Maths concepts and principles
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

The role involves working part-time hours as a temporary Maths tutor in a secondary school setting. The tutor will need to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and collaborate with other staff members to support student learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
