Role Overview: As a Full-Time Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and foster a love for the subject. You will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their academic goals and develop essential problem-solving skills essential for success in the modern world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of students, ensuring differentiation and scaffolding to support all learners.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote active participation in lessons.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Maths curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Secondary Maths Teacher status (QTS or equivalent).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting the diverse needs of learners.
  • Willingness to undergo vetting procedures conducted by Teaching Personnel.
