  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for secondary school students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Implement effective classroom and behaviour management strategies
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Bachelors degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Bachelors degree in Physical Education or a related field

Prior experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level is preferred

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Physical Education
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Fluency in Welsh is desirable
  • Valid driving licence for transportation to different school locations
  • Additional certifications in coaching or sports leadership
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Work in a secondary school setting in Swansea
  • Full-time hours on a temporary basis
  • Potential involvement in extracurricular sports activities and events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
