We are currently seeking a Maths Tutor to join our team in City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring to students in mathematics, focusing on SEN experience.

  • Plan and deliver effective maths tutoring sessions
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored teaching strategies
  • Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their mathematical skills
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure student success
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring mathematics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students with SEN

Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring mathematics

  • Excellent understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Knowledge of different teaching methodologies
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with SEN

This is a part-time temporary position, with hours to be determined. The Maths Tutor will be required to work in an educational setting, collaborating with students, educators, and parents to achieve academic success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
