Salary: £150–£250 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across the relevant secondary school year groups.
• Develop students' understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and numerical skills.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations, supporting them in achieving their academic goals.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider Mathematics department.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
• A strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level is desirable.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities.
• A commitment to raising attainment and helping every student reach their potential.
• Availability to start ASAP.
