Maths Teacher New

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rochdale.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting or teaching in UK schools and be confident working with pupils across the secondary age range. You will play an important role in delivering engaging Maths lessons, supporting pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment.

• Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and/or 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support students of varying abilities and learning needs.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in UK schools, ideally within a mainstream secondary setting.
• Has strong subject knowledge in Maths.
• Is confident managing classroom behaviour and engaging young people.
• Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners.
