Academics, a reputable education agency, are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school near Crewe, Cheshire East, who are looking for a confident and committed Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a stable, long-term role, covering a maternity absence from January 2027 through to the end of the academic year in July 2027.

The Role:

• Teach engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support all learners
• Build positive relationships with students and create a positive learning environment
• Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their potential
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

We're Looking For:

• QTS with a specialism in Secondary Mathematics
• Recent experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
