Smile Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Telford area.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
- Teach Maths up to GCSE level, with A Level teaching available where appropriate.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of SEND and other additional needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing appropriate feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.
- Support students in developing their confidence, knowledge and understanding of Mathematics.
The School Are Looking For
- An ECT or fully qualified Maths Teacher.
- Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum.
- Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level.
- Familiarity with relevant examination specifications.
- A confident and engaging approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A reliable, adaptable and committed approach.
- Someone who can motivate students and encourage them to achieve their potential.
