We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons while helping students develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students to develop confidence and reasoning skills
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet varying learning needs
• Monitoring student progress and attainment
• Maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment
• Encouraging participation and independent learning
• Supporting departmental and wider school initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge within Mathematics
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
• Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Organised, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
