Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding full-time role starting February half-term? Academics are working with a supportive secondary school in Stafford seeking a confident and enthusiastic teacher to cover a maternity leave position.
This is a full-time role teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, running from February half-term until the end of the summer term, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
About the Role:
- Full-time Maths teaching across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Marking and assessing in line with school policies
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve progress
- Working as part of a collaborative and supportive Maths department
- Fixed-term maternity cover starting February half-term
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Maths or a related subject - essential
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the contract
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
