  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons: Create inspiring, well-structured lessons that ignite students' curiosity in Mathematics, fostering both understanding and enjoyment in the subject.
  • Build confidence and skills: Equip students with essential numeracy skills and encourage critical thinking, ensuring they are well-prepared for exams and future studies.
  • Promote academic success: Implement teaching strategies that support students at all levels, tailoring resources to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate within the Maths Department: Work alongside an enthusiastic team of Maths educators, sharing resources, ideas, and best practices to continually enhance student learning.
  • Engage in pastoral duties: Participate in the wider school community through tutor responsibilities, supporting students' overall well-being and development.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A qualified Maths teacher with a strong foundation in Mathematics, ideally with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
  • Enthusiasm for teaching: A passion for Mathematics and a desire to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic journeys.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
