POST TITLE: Maths Teacher

CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time, long-term

A secondary school in Skelmersdale, Lancashire are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics who is a committed educator, dedicated to delivering the best teaching and learning to young people.

The successful applicant will promote a can-do learning attitude, and will join in supporting the schools growth and success.

The successful Maths Teacher will:

  • Be confident in teaching KS3/KS4 Mathematics
  • Have outstanding subject knowledge in Maths
  • Contribute to the resources shared across the department
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • Provide a positive, engaging learning environment
  • Have evidence and experience of achieving progress with students of mixed ability
  • Have a passion for teaching Mathematics, and have varied and creative teaching tactics
