POST TITLE: Maths Teacher

A well-regarded college in Leyland require a Maths Teacher who can support them with Y1 A-level small group sessions. Ideally the candidate would be available for an ASAP start, however they will consider applicants who are available from October 2024.

As the successful Maths Teacher, you will be a highly skilled professional who has a passion for this subject. You will have a proven track record of success in helping students achieve their academic goals, and will have the expertise to make Maths enjoyable and easy to understand. You will use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that each student learns in the way that suits them best, and you will understand that every student is unique and therefore tailor your lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.

Requirements for this post:

  • A UK teaching qualification
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one
  • Maths teaching experience up to KS5
  • Availability no later than September 2024
  • Availability to commit to a long-term role on a part-time basis
