Position: Maths Teacher

Start date: Monday 17th April 2023

Location: secondary school in the PR3 area of Preston, Lancashire

Contract: full-time, Monday – Friday

Temp-perm opportunity!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • KS3/KS4 Maths Teacher
  • Previous Maths teaching experience required
  • Planning and marking required
  • Good behaviour and classroom management
  • SEND/SEMH experience preferable: ASC, ADHD and challenging behaviour

The successful candidate will be someone with a passion for Mathematics, who will inspire and engage the students, and who will actively assist in the further development of the subject within the school. Your ability to use ICT in the teaching of Mathematics is essential. You will join a committed, hardworking, and friendly department who work closely together to achieve the highest results and full potential of the students.

The Mathematics department at this Secondary School has grown continually in strength, therefore it is essential the successful candidate is willing to work hard to contribute to the current teaching and learning strategies and develop their own teaching practice with the school’s support.

The school may be willing to accommodate a later start date for the right candidate.
