Are you passionate about Maths and want to inspire others to learn all about it?

Teaching Personnel are searching for a Maths Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school, with a skilful and resourceful team who dedicate their time to ensuring students have the opportunity to reach their maximum potential. You will be part of a supportive Maths department, and will be confident in teaching students of all learning abilities, and you will plan and prepare engaging lessons to ensure all students are inclusive of classroom activity.  The successful candidate will also be required to monitor and assess pupils’ progress and report this back to discuss with other members of the Maths department.

  • Large secondary school in Colchester
  • Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stages 4 
  • Pay in line with teaching scale

Knowledge, skill, and qualification requirement:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher status
  • Capacity to teach Maths across KS3/4
  • Previous experience teaching Maths at GCSE level is desirable
  • Demonstrated commitment to child safety
  • Willingness to learn and be resilient
  • Confidence in extending and enriching student learning
  • Has a child specific DBS on the update system (can apply)
