Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in the Dorchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to helping pupils develop their confidence, knowledge and problem-solving skills.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Years 5–8, supporting pupils of a range of abilities and helping them make strong progress in mathematics.

You will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Years 5–8
• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
• Promote positive attitudes towards Maths and encourage pupils to reach their potential

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience teaching Maths within a school setting
• Be confident teaching pupils across Year 5 to Year 8
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil development
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Hold relevant teaching qualifications or have suitable teaching experience
