Are you a passionate and qualified Tutor looking to make a real difference in a specialist educational setting?

We are currently seeking an experienced Maths & English Tutor with a Sports Specialism to join a supportive SEN school in Carshalton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who benefit from tailored learning approaches and engaging educational experiences.

You will be responsible for delivering Maths and English tuition to students with Special Educational Needs while incorporating practical and engaging learning strategies. A background or specialism in sports would be highly advantageous, helping to motivate students and support their wider development.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths and English.
  • Sports coaching, PE, or sports-related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working within an SEN setting is desirable.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and inspire learners.
  • A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable educator.
  • Someone who can engage students through creative teaching methods.
  • A professional who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
  • An individual who can contribute positively to a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
