SEMH KS4 Teacher - Core Subjects (Temp to Perm)

Do you want to make a real impact in the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs?
We are recruiting for a KS4 SEMH Teacher to deliver core subject teaching in a supportive specialist provision. This is a full-time, term-time only role, starting as soon as possible on a temporary to permanent basis.
You will be teaching small groups of approximately 3-4 pupils, allowing you to deliver highly personalised learning and build strong, consistent relationships. The pupils may present with complex behavioural needs, anxiety, trauma, or additional learning difficulties.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science) at KS4 level.
Differentiate work to meet individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes.
Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Manage behaviour positively and proactively, working closely with the pastoral and SEN teams.
Contribute to pupils' academic progress and personal development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent experience.
Confident delivering a cross-curricular approach at KS4.
Experience working with SEMH students or in alternative education is highly desirable.
Calm, adaptable, and patient, with strong behaviour management skills.
Committed to helping pupils achieve meaningful outcomes, both academically and emotionally.
