SEMH KS4 Teacher - Core Subjects (Temp to Perm)

We are recruiting for a KS4 SEMH Teacher to deliver core subject teaching in a supportive specialist provision. This is a full-time, term-time only role, starting as soon as possible on a temporary to permanent basis.

You will be teaching small groups of approximately 3-4 pupils, allowing you to deliver highly personalised learning and build strong, consistent relationships. The pupils may present with complex behavioural needs, anxiety, trauma, or additional learning difficulties.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science) at KS4 level.

• Differentiate work to meet individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes.

• Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Manage behaviour positively and proactively, working closely with the pastoral and SEN teams.

• Contribute to pupils' academic progress and personal development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent experience.

• Confident delivering a cross-curricular approach at KS4.

• Experience working with SEMH students or in alternative education is highly desirable.

• Calm, adaptable, and patient, with strong behaviour management skills.

• Committed to helping pupils achieve meaningful outcomes, both academically and emotionally.
