Salary: £135 - £210 Per day

The KS2 Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 children. They must assess pupil progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2

  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with assessment and data-driven instruction

The KS2 Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. They may need to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions outside regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
