Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
*Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
*Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of students
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework
*Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school policies
*Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events

Requirements:
*A relevant degree and a qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK
*Proven experience of teaching Design Technology at secondary school level
*Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and the ability to design courses that engage and challenge all learners
*Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to apply innovative and interactive teaching techniques
*High expectations for accountability and consistency
