Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

Contract: Full time, Permanent


Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce Team are currently working alongside an Academy in the Portsmouth area who are looking to hire a Art Teacher on a full time, permanent basis to start in the new academic year. You will be working in a new school, teaching GCSE Art to students aged 11 - 16 years old, working in a challenging but extremely rewarding environment. We are looking to speak with experience or early careers teachers regarding this vacancy, and encourage anyone who may be looking for a new role in September to reach out, as this is an exciting time to be joining.



  • A UK Teaching Qualification with QTS is essential for this role
  • You must have a minimum Bachelors Degree within the subject or similar subject
  • Ideally have prior experience teaching GCSE Art or any core Science subject (Physics, Chemistry or Biology) within a Secondary School/FE College
  • Be open to working in a challenging environment in order to develop as an Educator, and assist the students to grow.
  • Happy to provide 1:1 assistance to students who may be struggling in order to help them develop further.
